Foil postcard printing for mail that shimmers & shines.

Use foil postcards to delight and dazzle your customers. Foil printing adds reflective, shiny highlights to your postcardsmaking the extra glamorous message or image impossible to ignore. If you’re planning to launch a direct mail campaign, adding shimmering foil elements to your postcards will help increase response rates and cultivate a positive impression of your brand.

Customization Options for Foil Postcards

Foil postcards can be ordered in a range of standard business card sizes from 4" x 6" (the most common size for printed photos) to 5" x 7" (travel postcard size). You can print your foil postcards on a writable 14 pt. uncoated cardstock or an extra-thick 16 pt. gloss stock. A silk lamination option is also available to add a luxurious texture and water resistance to your postcards.

We go beyond the usual gold foil postcard printing. Available foil colors include copper, gold, silver, black, blue, and red. Use foil elements in your postcard design to make your call-to-action more noticeable or create stunning artwork. We also offer high-gloss spot UV, allowing you to add even more vibrance to parts of your design. Rounded corners can also be added to your custom foil postcards for a distinctly modern look.

Use foil postcards as outstanding handouts or direct mail pieces. You can also use custom foil printing for convention booth information cards and permanent displays at schools and museums.

Foil Postcards FAQs

Should I print on 14 pt. or 16 pt. cardstock?

Yes, the larger your order quantity, the less you spend on each postcard. The online calculator will show the total and unit price based on your specifications.
The spot UV area should be in a separate vector layer on your file. If you can’t separate it in a vector layer, contact customer service and let them know you’re sending a second file that shows the spot UV area in a different color.
